We brought science, stink, and summer sports together in a playful, parent-friendly activation that turned heads—and noses—nationwide. Building on the success of Lysol’s “World’s Stinkiest Sock” campaign, we evolved the idea into Lysol Labs, a 10-stop national tour designed to educate families on fighting odor-causing bacteria in laundry. Inside a custom mobile science center, guests could sniff the infamous sock, play Battling Bac—an 8-bit interactive game built for a retro game console, desktop, and mobile—and try their luck at a bubble-filled claw machine designed to look like a giant washing machine. Thoughtful prizes and giveaways rewarded participation and reinforced key messages. By summer’s end, over 2,000 guests had entered the experience and more than 2,100 gameplays were logged on the console, making Lysol Labs a fresh and fun success. You can still play the game here.
